Ann grew up in a musical family, with fiddle and guitar players who played and called frequently for square dances. At 14, she auditioned for a local country music show and begain singing and touring with the group. During college summers, she sang and danced at the Country Junction Ampitheatre at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, as well as Tiffany's Attic Theatre, and performed in musicals in St. Joseph, Missouri for the Ice House Theatre, Robidoux Resident Theatre, and Missouri Western State University.
Ann and Terry formed the group Fresh Cut Grass with guitarist Joe Payne. The trio performs all over the midwest and made a tour of Russia. Ann performs with various country music groups and has performed with the St. Joseph Symphony several times.
Ann also has a background in radio, as an announcer for KFEQ Radio in St. Joseph as well as heritage station WDAF 61 Country in Kansas City.
Ann and Terry live on a farm with 4 horses and a cat.
